Birmingham Airport CHAOS as staff sickness causes long delays and lost luggage

Birmingham Airport travellers have had their holidays delayed after a huge number of staff members called in sick, causing chaos to the airport.

Ground handler Swissport stated that 20 to 30 staff called in sick earlier this week, amounting to a quarter of the team needed on the ground.

This then caused huge delays to people attempting to make their way to boarding, as well as many suitcases going missing.
