Prem Mandir History

This temple is dedicated to Lord Radha-Krishna & Sita-Ram. This temple is spread across 54 acres of Land and temple structure was established by 5th Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj. Prem Mandir construction started in 2001 and it’s inauguration ceremony held in Feb 2012.

Vrindavan night photos

The temple complex is very spacious and having beautiful parks around the temple hall. Temple hall where Lord Radha-Govind & Sita- Ram prayers are performed everyday is at centre of the complex. Temple is made up of white marble and lighting makes it magnificent at night time.

Temple hall is at height of 20 feet which can be seen from distant place. Temple hall is surrounded by Radha-Krishna Sculptures depicting their childhood and their popular life events.

Two sculptures looks really fabulous. One of Lord Krishna dancing on Kaliya Head (Poisonous snake) & second on Lord Krishna lifting Govardhan mountain on his finger.

Location of Prem Temple

The temple is situated around 4 kilometer from National Highway 2. It’s easily accessible by road and you can reach Prem Mandir by car, auto & bus.

If you are travelling by private car, there might be problem of car parking. During Holi festivals, private vehicles are not allowed after 1700 hrs. You should park vehicle at Multi Level Car Parking around 700 metres from Prem Temple. During day time, Car is allowed upto temple.

Best Time to Visit Prem Mandir

Best time to visit Prem Mandir is of evening time during evening prayer. Apart from prayer, you can capture beautiful and magnificent music fountain. You should visit this temple during Holi time. Tourists across India as well foreigners visit this sacred place during Holi.

There is availability of hotels and restaurants in the market. You should book your room in advance. Best hotel in Vrindavan is Clark’s Residency which offers best facility at reasonable price.

Personal advise for you to keep your footwear in your personnel vehicle because unavailability of footwear locker at the temple.
